The positions re-elected were:

Democratic Leader: Delegate David J. Toscano

Caucus Chair: Delegate Charniele Herring

Vice Chair for Operations and Policy: Delegate Jeion Ward

Vice Chair for Outreach: Delegate Eileen Filler-Corn

Secretary: Delegate Marcia Price

Additionally, Delegate-elect Elizabeth Guzman was previously elected by the freshman class to serve as the freshman representative on the leadership team.

“We are honored and humbled by the unanimous vote tonight to continue to lead our Democratic Caucus,” said Toscano and Herring. “Our caucus is 100 percent united in our fight to expand Medicaid in Virginia, which would give nearly 400,000 people access to affordable health care.

“We also congratulate Delegate-elect Dawn Adams on her victory after her recount today in Richmond. We will continue our fight for a just result in Delegate-elect Shelly Simonds’ race and for a new election in Joshua Cole’s race in HD-28.”
