Down here in the 99th District we have four declared (and two more possible) Republicans vying for their party’s nomination to run for Albert Pollard’s General Assembly seat.

And what has been the response of the 99th District Democrats?
Well, a couple of months ago, some guy named Rick Smith or something like that from up in Westmoreland County made a few noises about running but has not been heard from since.
Anyone have a clue as to why we are giving up this seat?
