There are so many candidates running this year, it’s hard to keep track of them all, let alone to get a feel for their personalities and what they stand for. Which is why shows like The Inside Scoop (Channel 10 Fairfax Public Access) are so valuable, as are hosts like Catherine Read and Bettina Lawton. So great work and thanks to everyone involved in putting this show together, as well as to Jim Southworth, who played such a big role in getting it going in the first place!

With that, here are some recent interviews of Fairfax County Democratic candidates on The Inside Scoop.

The most recent show, from this Monday, has host Bettina Lawton interviewing: James Walkinshaw, candidate for Braddock Supervisor; Phil Niedzielski–Eichner, Candidate for Providence Supervisor; Walter Alcorn, Candidate for Hunter Mill Supervisor; and Jeff McKay, candidate for Chair of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors

The previous show, from March 11, had host Catherine Read interviewing: Karen Keys-Gamarra – FCPS, School Board Member at Large; Ricardy “Rickie” Anderson, Ed.D– Candidate, FCPS Mason District; Kelly Hebron – Candidate for Board of Supervisors, Lee District; and Alicia Plerhoples – Candidate, Chairman, Board of Supervisors.

The February 25 show had host Bettina Lawton interviewing: Dan Helmer, Candidate for Delegate in the 40th District; Linda Sperling, Candidate for Supervisor, Springfield District; Erika Yalowitz, Candidate for Supervisor, Providence District; and Rodney Lusk, Candidate for Supervisor, Lee District.
