10 Activists Block Entrance to Mountain Valley Pipeline Work Site in Montgomery County, VA

The following update is from Appalachians Against Pipelines, about an hour ago. I’m all for non-violent civil disobedience, by the way, particularly when the powers that be won’t use the legal, regulatory and other powers at their disposal to stop this corrupt, environmentally destructive, economically nonsensical Mountain Valley Pipeline boondoggle.

10 water protectors are currently blocking the entrance to a Mountain Valley Pipeline work site in Montgomery County, VA!

They’ve been blocking MVP’s access to the site for 2 hours and counting. ???

This is happening off of Flatwoods Rd near Elliston, VA.
