Breaking: right wingnut Pete Snyder (a Republican candidate for governor, along with Amanda Chase, Kirk Cox, Glenn Youngkin, etc.) is endorsed by fellow right wingnuts (State Sen. Mark Obenshain, Del. Israel O’Quinn, etc.), plus rabid xenophobe (compared immigrants to rats)/right-wing extremist, former Virginia AG Ken Cuccinelli, just off his disastrous stint as acting Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security in the Trump administration. My god, this party…

TEAM SNYDER ALERT: Pete Announces Campaign Leadership Team

Today conservative candidate for Governor Pete Snyder announced that Delegate Israel O’QuinnSenator Mark ObenshainKay Coles James, president of The Heritage Foundation, and former Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security and Attorney General of Virginia Ken Cuccinelli, will serve as Pete Snyder for Governor Campaign co-chairs.

The Snyder campaign set out on day one to win this race, and with Virginia’s strongest conservative leaders driving our grassroots campaign, we know we’ll be successful. They believe we need a conservative outsider and small business champion to take on the establishment and get Virginia leading again. Here’s what the Pete Snyder for Governor Campaign Co-Chairs had to say:

“Pete Snyder’s record of success in business is exactly what we need to get Virginia’s economy back on track. Pete is the leader we need to recover from this pandemic, get our kids back in the classrooms and emerge stronger than ever.” — Delegate Israel O’Quinn (R- Washington County)

“Pete Snyder is a strong conservative leader who will always put Virginia families first. I am proud to serve as a co-chair for Pete’s campaign. Together we are building a strong, grassroots team that will bring much-needed new leadership to Richmond.” — Senator Mark Obenshain (R- Rockingham County)

“I am thrilled to endorse a proven conservative leader in Pete Snyder. As our next governor, Pete will bring the change we desperately need in Richmond. Pete’s a results-oriented problem solver who can pull Virginia out of the mess that we are currently in. I look forward to working with him to reopen our schools and rebuild Virginia’s economy.” — Kay Cole JamesPresident of the Heritage Foundation

“As someone who has been in the political trenches for many years, knocking on doors, making phone calls, raising money, and growing the party, I am ecstatic to join Pete Snyder’s campaign for Governor. Pete has done all of those things for many years, for many candidates, and we have all gotten to know Pete’s commitment to the first principles of this country – principles that are the very motivation for me to engage in the political arena in the first place. Sadly, those principles are under assault today, and I believe Pete is the best candidate for governor to defend them in Virginia.”—  former Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security and Attorney General of Virginia Ken Cuccinelli

Delegate O’Quinn, Senator Obenshain, Kay Cole James, and Attorney General Cuccinelli join former State Senator Ralph Smith, former Republican National Committeewoman for Virginia Kathy Hayden, conservative leader Tina Freitas, and former 10th District Republican Committee Chairwoman Jo Thoburn who announced their support of Pete Snyder last week.

It’s clear that Pete Snyder is a unifying conservative who is bringing our party together around shared principles, the need to reopen our schools, and to save our small businesses.

Will you join us in this effort?
