Audio: Far-Right Rep. Bob Good (R-VA05) Says “I am thankful to have Marjorie Greene in the Congress, I think she stands for a lot of great things.”

Good also attacks former Rep. Denver Riggleman (R-VA05), asks "What do we stand for?" if Rs don't oust Liz Cheney from leadership.

See below for video and “highlights” – using that word very loosely and in air quotes – from Rep. Bob Good (R-VA05)’s interview this morning on Trumpster Radio (“The John Fredericks Show“). And just remember, VA05 voters could have had a brilliant, talented, compassionate, reasonable young doctor – Cameron Webb – representing them instead of this extremist nutter…ugh.

  • Regarding former Rep. Denver Riggleman (R-VA05), who Good defeat in a bizarre Republican nomination process, Good said “you often learn about people when they lose, adversity reveals what’s really there, when they no longer have anything to gain by pretending…often that’s very revealing.”
  • On possibly ousting Rep. Liz Cheney (R) from House GOP leadership, Good said “I think the vote to impeach was inexcusable for Democrats…let alone any Republicans, let alone one who is in charge of communications and messaging for the Republican Party…What do we stand for?…Is there not a line that can be crossed, and I think that line has been crossed…”
  • On Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R), who has said and done many, many extreme, anti-Semitic, etc. things (see here for a lot more on that), Good said: “I am thankful to have Marjorie Greene in the Congress, I think she stands for a lot of great things. And I support her, and I think it’s a mistake and it’s dangerous to have the Democrat [sic] Party trying to choose who gets to be on the committees on the Republican side…She’s been sent there by the people of Georgia…These things, to my understanding, that she’s being accused of, happened allegedly before, actually before she was elected…I’m proud to serve with her…I hope that she’ll be able to continue to serve on [the Education and Labor Committee].
