FAIRFAX, VA – Sean Perryman’s campaign for Lt. Governor of Virginia rolled out a slate of new endorsements from Hampton-based elected officials and community leaders on Thursday. This follows the endorsement announced earlier in the week of Loudoun County Board of Supervisors Chair Phyllis Randall.

The list of endorsers includes:

Anton Bell, Hampton Commonwealth’s Attorney
Chris Snead, Hampton City Council member
Rev. Dr. Reginald Woodhouse, Hampton School Board Vice Chair
Tina Banks-Gray, Hampton School Board member
Jason Samuels, Hampton School Board member
Will Moffett, Former Hampton City Council member
Hope Harper, Hampton community leader

“I’m beyond excited to have these strong leaders on our team in the race for Lt. Governor,” said Perryman. “Our campaign is all about reaching every corner of the Commonwealth and building coalitions with communities like Hampton. These leaders are constantly fighting for equity and the prosperity of their neighbors, and they share my vision of a Virginia where our government and economy works for all Virginians rather than the powerful few. There’s no question that the path to victory in a statewide Democratic primary runs through Hampton Roads, meaning this wave of support is a huge boost for our campaign.”

“These new endorsements come as our campaign has the winds of momentum at our backs,” continued Perryman. “Our launch video has racked up over 800,000 views across social media in less than five days, we’ve assembled an A+ team to lead our campaign, we have new endorsers coming on board every week, and our extensive volunteer operation continues to reach into every community in the Commonwealth. This is what growing a successful movement for progressive change looks like.”

Sean Perryman is President Emeritus of the Fairfax County Chapter of the NAACP, a technology public policy advocate, attorney, and former congressional investigator. If elected he would become one of the youngest Lt. Governors in Virginia history.
