Sunday (3/21) Virginia Data on COVID-19 Finds +1,159 Confirmed/Probable Cases (to 604,904), +34 Hospitalizations (to 25,792), +13 Deaths (to 10,117)

See below for graphics of the newly posted COVID-19 numbers by the Virginia Department of Health and the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association. So, at this point (3/21), in Virginia we’re at 604,904 total reported – confirmed plus probable – cases (note that actual cases, as well as deaths, could be higher, maybe even a LOT higher, based on stories like this one in the NY Times), 25,792 hospitalizations and 10,117 deaths from COVID-19. The number of reported cases went to 1,159 (+0.2%) in the latest statistics, which is a slightly slower rate of increase than the day before, when reported cases were up 1,563 (+0.3%). As for hospitalizations, they went up 34 (+0.1%), which is a slightly slower rate of increase than the day before, when hospitalizations were up 47 (+0.2%).  Deaths are reported +13, compared to +12 the previous day. The number of PCR-ONLY test results is currently at 6,313,570 (up 17,602 from yesterday).
