in the 5th Congressional District (mentioned in Number 5 of the Whipple Clips) is being ginned up by a sore Republican loser, Jim McKelvey, and involving the disgraced former Republican Speaker of the House of Delegates, Vance Wilkins—- supposedly intending to help kick out our outstanding freshman Congressman, Democrat Tom Perriello.

Did you ever hear any more accurate political nomenclature? Take Our Country “Back”? I doubt the Republican wordsmiths get the double meaning here, in their zeal to promote a return to the states’ rights and nullification philosophy of the Civil War, meaning mainly the time when white males so ruled the roos—-, a mythical fantasy-time now Gone With The Wind.

There is another connotation: back, back, back, cancelling out progress, turning their backs on the future, refusing to adapt to the 21st century. The Party of No, the Party of looking in the rear-view mirror, which means they will be endlesslylindsided by the rushing problems of today and tomorrow. The party not just of No but of No Answers.
