Virgil Goode makes the VA presidential ballot; Romney challenging

    Virginia’s State Board of Elections has ruled that former congressman Virgil Goode should be on the presidential ballot as the candidate of the Constitution Party.

    Goode is certain to pull more votes from Romney than from Obama.  A PPP poll last month showed Obama carrying Virginia 50-45 in a two-way race.  However, with Goode included, Obama’s edge went up to 50-42.

    Willard’s campaign is reported to be challenging Goode’s candidacy petitions.
