2019 Elections

Video: Ken Boddye, Lee Carter Urge PW County to Elect Jacqueline Smith on 4/18

This coming Tuesday, April 18, Prince William County voters have the chance to elect a new Clerk of the Circuit Court, and the contrast in candidates could not be more stark or more clear. On the one hand, there’s right-wing Republican Jackson Miller. For at least these 7 reasons, you really really don’t want to vote for him! On the other hand, there’s Democrat Jacqueline Smith — who has “logged thousands of pro bono hours providing free legal assistance to the residents of Virginia and the District of Columbia, and has achieved remarkable results on their behalf in the areas of child care and protection, disaster response, federal and state income tax disputes and insurance disputes” – and would make a superb Clerk of the Circuit Court. So if you’re a registered voter in PW County, make sure you get out and vote for Jacqueline Smith .
