Former Virginia GOP Del. David Ramadan on Fairfax GOP’s Election Today of Anti-Semite-Backed Chair: “What a fucking disgrace – the Grand Old Party no more”

6

Remember this from February 11, 2018?

That’s right; according to Virginia Republican blog Bearing Drift, “[Virginia GOP State Central Committee member Fredy] Burgos took to Facebook in support of a religious test for party office, attacking one candidate for his Jewish faith as part of what Burgos called a ‘duty’ to oppose non-Christians running for office.” Burgos proceeded to justify his opposition to the candidacy of a Jewish man, Mike Ginsberg, for Fairfax County Republican Committee Chair, as follows: “Having a preference for Christians over non-Christians as political leaders is not bigoted.”

Well, today, the Fairfax County Republican Committee (FCRC) met to choose its new Chair — and guess who they chose??? That’s right, none other than the guy Burgos supported (Tim Hannigan) over Mike Ginsberg, who is Jewish. In response, check out the following exchange on Twitter between: 1) Fairfax County Democratic Committee (FCDC) Chair Dan Lagana, who says that the candidate endorsed by “anti-semite [Fredy] Burgos” won, while the “object of Burgos’ anti semitism loses big”; 2) Ben Tribbett, who says the FCRC chair “election was today and the anti-semitic faction won”; 3) former Del. David Ramadan (R), who summed it all up by tweeting, “What a fucking disgrace – the Grand Old Party no more.” Hahahahahaha — more popcorn, please!

Oh, and last but…ok, definitely least, VA GOP Chair John “Anti-Semitic ‘joke’ dude” Whitbeck chimes in…check that out below. Fun times.

P.S. The VA GOP’s chair, John “Anti-Semitic ‘Joke’ Dude” Whitbeck, is unhappy not with his own party for what Dan Lagana, Ben Tribbett and David Ramadan are saying, but with Lagana, Tribbett and Ramadan for saying it out loud. Pathetic.
