Richmond, VA – Last night, Congressman Scott Taylor (VA-02) was in a coastal town meeting with voters. It was not Virginia Beach. It was not Cape Charles. It was not Poquoson.
Scott Taylor was not even in Virginia.
Scott Taylor was 900 miles away on Florida’s Gulf Coast with President Trump’s oldest son and “Ambassador to the Fringe”, Donald Trump Jr, to campaign for America’s “Trumpiest Congressman”, Matt Gaetz.
Wait, what?
Yes. Scott Taylor, who claims to be too focused on his district to condemn Corey Stewart, left VA-02 to gallivant with Gaetz and Trump Jr, two of the Republican Party’s most extreme figures.
Looks like Scott Taylor’s Corey Stewart excuse is not going to fly anymore, Congressman.
If you can travel 900 miles to hang out with Don Jr in support of the Congressman who invited a Holocaust-denier to the State of the Union, you can tell your constituents whether or not you support Corey Stewart.
It is time for you to stop ducking and give VA-02 voters an answer, Congressman.
