There’s a ton going on at the state level in Virginia, but meanwhile, politics of course goes on at the local level as well. For instance, last night at the Arlington County Democratic Committee meeting, five – count ’em! – candidates announced for Arlington County School Board (see video, below).  Two incumbent Arlington County School Board members – Tannia Talento and Nancy Van Doren – have announced that they won’t be running for reelection in 2020, resulting in two open seats (out of five) on the School Board. The candidates announcing last night to replace them, in order, were:

Symone Walker
Cristina Diaz-Torres
David Priddy
Sandy Munnell
Terron Sims
