Glad to see all these Senators swearing to be fair jurors in the impeachment trial against Trump, but…sorry, but I have *zero* faith in the vast majority of Republicans actually holding to their oaths and deliver “impartial justice according to the Constitution and laws” in this case. The question is, what happens if Mitch McConnell and other Republicans violate their oaths? Will there be any adverse consequences? Something tells me the answer to that is “no,” unfortunately. (As this tweet says, “Hey Siri, how do we remove the 53 GOP Senators who just lied under oath about being impartial jurors?”)
