Terry McAuliffe Hosts Virtual Organizing Meeting in Virginia with Virginia High Schoolers for Biden

Today, former Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe hosted a virtual organizing meeting in Virginia with Virginia High Schoolers for Biden.

During the meeting, Governor McAuliffe spoke to a wide range of issues, including his decades-long relationship with Vice President Joe Biden, Biden’s experience with foreign leaders on the global stage, and why it’s so crucial for Virginia students to mobilize and organize their communities ahead of the general election in November.

See below for a key quote from the organizing meeting:

“He will work with all sides to get things done, and that’s what I love about Joe Biden. It doesn’t matter — he’s gonna do infrastructure, he’s gonna fix the health care in our country, education, and he’s going to bring people back together in this country. He has empathy, strength, intelligence, and we need him, folks. I travel, I’ve owned companies all over the globe, I can tell you the way that people look at America today versus how they used to look at us — as the greatest democracy — has been diminished greatly. So this is our chance, and that’s why I want to thank all the high school folks who are on the call. You need to get active. We’ve got four months to go. It’s going to come so fast, but you really got to get active,” said former Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe.
