Congresswoman Elaine Luria Releases First Television Ad For Her 2020 Re-Election Campaign 

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – Today Congresswoman Elaine Luria’s campaign announced the launch of their first television ad today titled “Our Congresswoman.”  

The ad is the first installment of a strategic ad buy showcasing Congresswoman Elaine Luria’s consistent record of legislative accomplishments for Coastal Virginia in her first term and the strength of her bipartisan leadership in Washington.

A 20-year Navy veteran, Congresswoman Elaine Luria was named one of the most effective members of Congress by a 2019 GovTrack Report Card, passing the third most laws of any Representative in the U.S House. She’s spent her first term in Congress working with both parties to lower prescription drug prices and ensure affordable quality health care, with 79% of her bills co-written with Republicans. 

Congresswoman Elaine Luria represents Virginia’s Second Congressional District, which includes all of Accomack and Northampton Counties, the cities of Virginia Beach and Williamsburg, as well as portions of Norfolk City, Hampton, and York and James City Counties. Congresswoman Luria was recently named one of the most effective members of Congress by a 2019 GovTrack Report Card, passing the third most laws of any Representative in the U.S House. In 2018, Elaine Luria flipped VA-02 from a Republican incumbent and is a current Frontline incumbent.
