Warner Releases New Campaign Ad, Touting Rural Broadband Wins

Watch “Connect”

Mark Warner’s re-election campaign began airing a new campaign ad on Thursday in the Roanoke market. The latest ad entitled “Connect” is part of a seven-figure, eight-week statewide television buy.

The ad highlights Warner’s results-driven work first as Governor and now in the U.S. Senate, delivering fiber optic connectivity and high-speed internet access to Virginians in rural communities. Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, Senator Warner has been a leading voice in the Senate, understanding that connectivity is now the difference in healthcare, economic opportunity, and educational access for millions of Virginians.

Senator Warner continues to emphasize the necessity for all Virginians to make their voices heard in this year’s election. Virginians can vote early in-person from September 18 through October 31. Voters can check their registration status, register to vote, and request an absentee ballot today. For more information visit: iwillvote.com.

Transcript of “Connect”

Warner: Across Virginia, kitchens became offices. Homes became schools. With Covid-19, being connected has never been more important. As Governor, I helped construct 800 miles of fibre. As Senator, I delivered millions for rural broadband.

But there’s more to do. My Senate bill makes the largest investment in broadband ever, because every Virginian needs high-speed access, no matter where they live. I’m Mark Warner, and I approve this message.
