Does anyone think Rep. Rob Wittman (R-VA01) will condemn this deplorable behavior? That’s right, according to VA01 Democratic nominee Qasim Rashid, one of his signs was “shot…40+ times.” Unfortunately, this is where the “politics of hate” – as Rashid calls it – leads, with Rep. Wittman having “spent his entire campaign calling me radical & tying me to Islamic terrorism – endangering my safety.” The response by Rashid? Not more hate, but to “overcome his hate with our compassion,” to “win with justice and compassion & defeat hate.” So inspiring…go Qasim!
