Per VPAP, “As the new GOP majority in the #Virginia House sets its legislative agenda for January, it’s safe to assume they’ll look to undo some of these measures, many of which passed earlier this year w/out a single Republican vote.” See below for which progressive legislation, passed by Democrats the past two years, could now be in SERIOUS jeopardy.  And yes, elections really do have consequences, both positive and – in this case – highly negative. Oh, and for those who argue that the State Senate – controlled narrowly by Democrats, by a 21-19 margin – will hang tough and prevent all (or most) of this progressive legislation from being reversed, remember that all it would take, on issue after issue, is a SINGLE DEMOCRATIC SENATOR to defect, with LG Winsome Sears breaking the tie.
