Virginia COVID-19 Cases Up a Massive 145,748 (!) the Past 10 Days; Hospitalizations at Highest Level (3,329) Since Pandemic Began

See below for the latest COVID-19 statistics for Virginia, courtesy of the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) and the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association (VHHA). As you can see, total cases hit 1,221,036, up 18,309 since the Thursday morning report and up a massive 145,748 over the past 10 days – the  highest 10-day increase since the pandemic began. As for hospitalizations, according to VDH, we’re now at a cumulative 44,056, up 301 from the Thursday morning statistics (also, VHHA now has hospitalizations at 3,329 – the highest ever in the entire pandemic). And deaths are at 15,651, up 9 from the Thursday morning statistics.
