Extremist Yesli Vega Retreats from Disgraced Former President

Richmond, VA – Today, the Democratic Party of Virginia released a new video spotlighting Yesli Vega’s retreat from her online references to former President Trump.

Vega’s move to distance herself from Trump comes just weeks after the U.S. Department of Justice launched its investigation into the former president’s mishandling of classified documents.

Take it from her own words: “President Trump has been the best President of my lifetime,” is what Yesli Vega told conservative radio host John Fredericks in June 2022, just months before Vega scraped her alleged appointment to the Trump administration that she – up until last month – wore with a badge of honor.

“Yesli Vega is a far-right extremist, whether she tells you she is or not,” said DPVA Spokesperson Gianni Snidle. “Now, she’s making a last-ditch effort to trick voters — but Virginians won’t be fooled. Her radical agenda of banning abortion, attacking law enforcement, raising prescription drug prices for our seniors, and shutting down the federal government is out of touch with the people of the Seventh District”
