Jen Kiggans Runs Through Back Door to Avoid Press After Debate, Repeatedly Refuses to Answer Whether Joe Biden Won 2020 Election
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – Immediately following Monday night’s VA-02 debate in Smithfield, Jen Kiggans was quickly rushed through a back door to avoid local reporters and repeatedly refused to answer follow-up questions from 13 News Now as to whether Joe Biden won the 2020 election.
After last week’s Hampton Roads Chamber debate, Kiggans embarrassingly ran away from several reporters asking if Joe Biden won a free and fair election in 2020.
“Kiggans’ rushed exit through a back door after the debate in Smithfield marks the second time in less than a week that she has run away from local reporters. If Kiggans can’t face questions from the local press about her positions, she doesn’t deserve to represent Coastal Virginia in Congress,” Luria campaign spokesperson Jayce Genco said.
Earlier this month, Kiggans remarkably still found a way to reaffirm her support for a national abortion ban while refusing to talk to CNN and attempting to hide her extremist views from Coastal Virginians.
Kiggans is one of only four state senators who voted for a $70 million taxpayer-funded audit of the 2020 election in Virginia, which Joe Biden won by 10 points.
The Virginian Pilot editorial board slammed Kiggans in August: “After announcing her bid for Congress, she apparently decided that the path to victory is the selling of her soul,” and compared her to conspiracy theorist Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Last night, Jen Kiggans quickly left the debate through a back door to avoid talking to local media and refused to answer whether Joe Biden won a free and fair election in 2020.
