Dranesville Supervisor John Foust Endorses Jimmy Bierman for Dranesville Supervisor

McLean, VA – Today, Jimmy Bierman has announced that current Dranesville Supervisor, John Foust is endorsing him in his race for Dranesville Supervisor.

“I’m proud to endorse my friend Jimmy Bierman to serve on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors,” said Dranesville Supervisor John Foust. “Jimmy is a community leader and dedicated public servant who understands the vital role county government plays in delivering facilities and services for the residents of the Dranesville District. Whether you live in Herndon, Vienna, Falls Church, McLean, or Great Falls — Jimmy is committed to serving you and your community. Jimmy Bierman is the right person to serve us as we go forward. I am certain he will be an effective champion for your family and all Dranesville residents.”

Supervisor Foust has served the Dranesville District since 2007 and will not be seeking re-election at the end of the term. His legacy has included leading the development of a strategic plan to facilitate the economic success of Fairfax County, delivering affordable housing and independent living for low-income seniors, expanding full-day kindergarten in our public schools, and sponsoring the first LGBT Pride Month recognition by Fairfax County.

“Supervisor John Foust’s leadership has shaped our county for the better, and I am deeply honored to have his endorsement. John is a pillar in our community who never stops working for us. As Dranesville’s next supervisor, I am committed to fighting to protect our progress while expanding opportunities for all,” said Jimmy Bierman, candidate for Dranesville Supervisor.

The Dranesville District Supervisor seat is open in the upcoming 2023 election. Currently, Bierman is the only candidate who has announced his candidacy to run from either political party.

Today’s endorsement continues Bierman’s momentum as he has already earned endorsements from Congressman Don Beyer (VA-8) and Congressman Gerry Connolly (VA-11).
