Numbers are now pouring in to the Virginia Department of Elections and VPAP for fundraising totals (receipts, cash on hand, etc.) during the first quarter of 2023. See below for some of the competitive races around Virginia, both for local races as well as for House of Delegates and State Senate contests. I’ll also indicate whether the race is safe Republican, safe Democratic or competitive. To determine whether these are strong fundraising numbers or not, see here for some baselines. Finally, to see the status (seeking reelection or other office? retiring?) of all 140 members of the Virginia General Assembly, see here.
