Video: VA House, Senate Dems Call on Youngkin to Sign “7-Day Bills,” Including Those “raising the minimum wage, protecting women’s health, and banning assault weapons”

See below for video and highlights from this morning’s press conference by Virginia House and Senate Democrats, in which they called on Gov. Glenn Youngkin to “sign the 7-day bills that members of the [General Assembly] have sent to his desk.” According to the Virginia Senate Democrats, “These bills would ensure contraception access, reinstate Virginia’s ERIC membership and raise the minimum wage, among other priorities.” Also, per Virginia House Majority Leader Charniele Herring, bills that Youngkin should sign include those “raising the minimum wage, protecting women’s health, and banning assault weapons.” But will Youngkin sign ANY of these, let alone most or all of them? VERY unlikely, given that he’s a right winger through and through…and also continues to have “higher” political ambitions within the Trumpified/MAGA Republican Party.
