Constituents Deluge Rep. Jen Kiggans (R-VA02) with Comments Calling Out Her Lies; Failure to Stand Up for Her District or for “veterans, federal workers, senior citizens and active duty military”; Voting for the Draconian House GOP Budget; Not Holding a Town Hall; etc.

A few of the responses to these latest posts by Rep. Jen Kiggans (R-VA02) – who voted the other day for the House Republicans’ ruinous, disastrous budget and who has done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING (quite the contrary!) to stand up for her district, for Virginia, for America, for the rule of law, for the constitution, etc. – really say it all. See below for a few examples (out of MANY!), following the posts themselves, which are classic Kiggans b.s., misdirection, dishonesty, slipperiness, revisionist history,. etc.

Also, as you read these comments, keep in mind that Kiggans represents a reddish-purple/competitive Hampton Roads district that basically was a tie between Kamala Harris (49.1%) and Donald Trump (49.3%) in November 2024, and that stands to get NAILED economically and otherwise by Trump’s/Musk’s war on the federal government, cuts to veterans programs and the military, etc.. So Kiggans is most definitely vulnerable politically in November 2026. Yet so far at least, she has voted in lockstep with Donald Trump, Mike Johnson, and the US House Republican extremists. That really says it all about where her head is at.

• “Why did you vote for a budget that gives tax cuts to the wealthy? This us not a step in the right direction. Why won’t you show up at town hall meetings to answer questions?”

Nothing witnessed on Friday in the Oval Office was anything you were taught about allyship or diplomacy while you were serving. It was a horrible show; you’re allowing yourself to be part of the supporting cast and production crew. Sad.”
• “You call yourself unapologetically prolife, yet you will allow cuts to Medicaid and SNAP that will leave these kids hungry and sick. It’s heartless. I don’t know how you can sleep at night. And no, for the record, even though I don’t get these type of benefits I have never minded paying my taxes to support them. What I do mind is paying my taxes so the ultra rich don’t have to!”

We see programs being cut and people losing their jobs. The ‘president’ just chose Putin over our allies. We are becoming isolated from the rest of the free world. Our veterans and the elderly are fearful of losing their much deserved benefits. The co-president, Musk, called social security a ponzi scheme. This post does NOTHING to satisfy your requirement to meet with the people you represent. You are scheduled to work in district from March 13-21. Surely, you have plans for a town hall. Stop hiding behind your keyboard and do your job!”

Especially the ones that were investigating Elon Musk. You might have a lot of constituents that don’t pay attention to what’s going on. I do. You are not serving my interest. I do not feel like you are serving the interest of the second district. Since this was made today, I want to know why you didn’t mention the utterly embarrassing fiasco that occurred in OUR oval office on Friday. Our president and vice president totally disrespected the leader of another country and praised Vladimir Putin.! I was born 70+ years ago into a country that was the envy of the world. We had saved the world. I went through the nuclear bomb drills where we had to get under our desks with our arms over our heads. my husband served in the United States Navy for 20 years on two admiral staffs. Anybody that thinks Russia is our friend is an uninformed citizen. The thing I don’t understand is why our elected leaders seem to be so uninformed. I’m helping to pay your salary and I want to Townhall. I want you to show up in Virginia Beach so you can answer my questions face-to-face and not have some staff or go through and delete me on your Facebook page.”
