From DPVA:
TONIGHT: Winsome Earle-Sears to Fundraise Alongside Extreme Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders
Sears and Huckabee Sanders share an extreme record attacking reproductive rights and supporting abortion bans
VIRGINIA – Tonight, Winsome Earle-Sears is slated to attend an event in Upperville, Virginia alongside Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who like Sears has an extreme record opposing abortion and reproductive rights, and has stated that she does not support adding exceptions for victims of rape and incest to the Arkansas’s abortion ban, and that she would not advocate for them. Huckabee Sanders also pledged to sign even further restrictions into law.
“Winsome Earle-Sears’ event tonight with Sarah Huckabee Sanders signals her extreme agenda to roll back rights in the Commonwealth just like Huckabee Sanders has in Arkansas. While Virginians deserve a governor who puts Virginia first, Sears is choosing to stand with Huckabee Sanders who has repeatedly attacked reproductive freedom and defended Arkansas’ near-total abortion ban,” said DPVA Spokesperson Maggie Amjad.
