Shannon Taylor Launches TV AD in Attorney General Campaign
HENRICO, VA – Today, Shannon Taylor, Democratic candidate for Attorney General, launched her first ad highlighting her unmatched record protecting Virginia families. Watch Shannon’s ad here.
“Virginia needs an Attorney General, with a proven record of winning tough fights – a leader who can stop Trump and Musk from further dismantling abortion rights, accessing our private data, and blindly cutting jobs and programs that make it harder to get by,” said Shannon Taylor. “I’ve taken on the KKK, held fraudsters accountable for exploiting seniors and driving up costs, and was one of the first prosecutors in the nation to push back against criminalizing women and doctors for accessing abortions after Roe v. Wade was overturned. As Attorney General, I will be the last line of defense for protecting Virginia’s families, communities, and pocketbooks.”

Shannon Taylor: “To protect our families, their lawlessness has to be stopped. I’m Shannon Taylor. I’m running for Attorney General to beat back Musk and Trump. As Henrico’s top prosecutor, I took on the NRA, went after Neo-Nazis and the Ku Klux Klan, prosecuted scammers, and protected women after we lost our abortion rights. I’m the only Democrat to have prosecuted a criminal case, And win a Republican seat. Now, I’m coming for Trump.”
Shannon Taylor is a lifelong Virginian who has always taken on tough fights to help the people of Virginia. Shannon became the only Democrat elected county wide in 2011 when she was elected Commonwealth’s Attorney for Henrico County, and took on the powerful interests that got in the way of progress. Shannon has taken on the gun lobby to reduce illegal guns on our streets, held fraudsters accountable for exploiting seniors and driving up costs, and was one of the first prosecutors in the nation to push back against criminalizing women and doctors for accessing abortions after Roe v. Wade was overturned, sparking a national movement for other prosecutors to do the same.
