- The scientists warning the world about the ‘evil twin’ of the climate crisis affecting our oceans (“There’s frustration among researchers that falling pH levels in seas around the globe are not being taken seriously enough, and that until the buildup of CO2 is addressed, the consequences for marine life will be devastating” Total disaster.)
- Prince William says ocean conservation is a challenge like no other ahead of U.N. summit (“The summit comes with just 2.7% of the ocean protected from destructive extractive activities, far below the target of conserving 30% of land and sea by 2030.” Pathetic.)
- Clean energy spending roars worldwide, despite Trump’s fossil focus (“Global investment in zero-carbon electricity generation, power grids and energy efficiency is expected to hit $2.2 trillion in 2025, about twice as much as what’s forecast for oil, gas and coal, according to the International Energy Agency.” Good, but we need ZERO investment in fossil fuels at this point.)

- The Deportation Wars Begin (“Trump has a mandate, but protests in California show the trouble that might lie ahead.” The first part of this is b.s. by the Wall St. Journal editorial board – in fact, what Trump really has a mandate for is deporting illegal aliens who have committed violent crimes, while there’s support for deporting law-abiding people who’ve lived here for years, let alone their kids who were born here is a lot softer.)
- Trump Jumps at the Chance for a Standoff in California Over Immigration
- The Legal Issues Surrounding Trump’s Plan to Use Troops to Suppress Protests (Bland, neutral headline by the NY Times. See what they do???)

Every American who values our democracy must show up in the streets, town squares, freeway overpasses, government buildings, parks, malls, parking lots—anywhere our voices can be heard.
