NEW: Spanberger Campaign Reports Record $10.7 Million Raised in Q2 of Election Year

Spanberger’s Number Is the Highest Amount Ever Raised in Contributions by a Virginia Gubernatorial Candidate in Q2 of the Election Year

Spanberger’s Campaign Has Received Nearly 210,000 Individual Contributions

Since Launching

RICHMOND, Va. — The Spanberger for Governor campaign today announced that it raised more than $10.7 million in April, May, and June of 2025 — the highest amount ever raised in contributions by a statewide Virginia candidate in the second quarter of an election year.

Spanberger’s record quarter was powered by Virginians in communities across the Commonwealth:

  • Nearly 75,000 contributions were $100 or less.
  • 92% of donations were $100 or less.
  • The average grassroots donation was $29.

Since launching in November 2023, Spanberger’s campaign has:

  • Raised more than $27 million.
  • Received nearly 210,000 individual contributions.

“Across the Commonwealth, Abigail hears from Virginians who are feeling squeezed by high costs, frustrated by the chaos coming out of Washington, and are ready to elect a Governor who will put Virginia families first — not blind loyalty to a political party,” said Samson Signori, Campaign Manager, Spanberger for Governor. “We are incredibly grateful for this record outpouring of support. Virginians know that as our next Governor, Abigail will work every day to lower costs, strengthen our schools, protect Virginia jobs, and keep our communities safe. And over the next four months, our campaign will use every minute to make sure Abigail’s winning message reaches every community in Virginia.”
