WASHINGTON — Today, the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee (DLCC) launched new digital ads bringing the receipts on the human costs of Republicans’ disastrous budget law in battleground states. The digital ads target voters in Virginia, New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, and Wisconsin – states with key legislative battles in 2025 and 2026 – to call out threats to health care and higher costs fueled by Republicans’ complicity up and down the ballot. These ads come on the heels of a press conference the DLCC hosted on how states are bracing for the impact of the GOP’s budget law and state Democrats’ leadership amid this crisis created by Republicans. Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee President Heather Williams issued the following statement: “Republicans up and down the ballot have sold out the states and their communities with this disastrous budget law – and the DLCC has the receipts. Millions of Americans will lose health care and see higher grocery store bills with states facing $88 billion in annual cuts from the federal government. Every Republican will be held accountable for creating this budget crisis on the backs of working Americans – that’s exactly what these ads do.
