Per Fox News “MAGA world erupts over Trump’s defense of Bondi amid Epstein files fallout”:
“MAGA supporters are nor pleased with President Donald Trump following his full-throated defense of Attorney General Pam Bondi, whose Department of Justice denied the existence of a Jeffrey Epstein client list after years of Trump surrogates vowing to reveal the disgraced financier’s secrets.
Longtime conservatives and supporters of Trump sounded off on social media this weekend, as well as in person during a convention in Florida, with various messages pledging that the Epstein scandal will not “go away.” The DOJ determined that Epstein committed suicide in 2019 and that there is no list detailing the names of the world’s elite who allegedly took part in Epstein’s history of sexual deviancy.”
So here in Virginia, how are Trump’s loyal MAGA minions reacting? Mostly silence on social media from the likes of Glenn Youngkin, Winsome Earle-Sears, Jason Miyares, etc. But one Virginia Republican who IS weighing in is former Del. Tim Anderson, who is now attempting to get elected again to the House of Delegates in HD97, taking on Democratic incumbent Del. Michael Feggans. So it’s interesting to see Anderson’s Facebook post, in which he writes:
“President Trump is going to lose everything over this. All the good he has done and could do is going to be ruined to protect some nasty powerful pedophiles.
I will not be a part of this.
Evil rises when good men stay silent”
I mean, I don’t agree with Tim Anderson on pretty much anything, but he really does have a point here, as this really appears to be a coverup by Trump, Bondi, etc. of Trump’s longtime close friendship with child sex offender scumbag Jeffrey Epstein. Some of the comments on Anderson’s Facebook post are truly revealing about the MAGA cult mindset. For instance:
- “I’m holding off for a bit. Trump usually is working something bigger behind the scenes. I hope this will be for the greater good. Time will tell.”
- “I’m hopeful they are working on something behind the scenes. It needs to be done quickly.”
- “I understand being upset about not releasing these files right now. I can’t fully agree with you though…if it were up to you Trump wouldn’t have been elected in the first place. But you and I both know he was the best option we had. He surely hasn’t done a perfect job leading the free world but it’s been better than anyone else in our lifetime.”
- “I believe that both Trump and Bill Clinton were involved. Neither side wants the details to come out.”
- “People talk about Trump being a chess player when others are playing checkers. I have been thinking about what he could possibly gain by not releasing those files. Could he be planning to use those files for negotiation purposes with issues that the deep state has been fighting him on? I read a write up on this theory but forgive me for not being able to remember the source. I don’t like the idea of pedophiles getting away with their dirty deeds and this is the only thing that possibly explains why the files are not being released as promised.”
So…yeah, those are just a few of the comments on Anderson’s post, indicating the degree to which the MAGA “base” is really not happy with this whole situation, is trying to wrap its collective brain around it, is hoping that Trump has some bigger/super-top-secret plan here, etc. Except…nope, let’s go with good ol’ Occam and his trusty razor on this one: most likely, what’s going on here is Trump was heavily involved with Epstein, committed numerous child sex crimes, etc., and is now desperately trying to keep it from leaking out. Hence, Trump’s rambling, desperate, flailing b.s. about his “boys” and “gals,” how supposedly Pam Bondi is doing a “FANTASTIC JOB,” how they’re all on “one Team MAGA” in a “PERFECT Administration,” how the Epstein files were actually written by “Obama, Crooked Hillary, Comey, Brennan and the Losers and Criminals of the Biden Administration,” etc.
So first of all, Trump is completely unhinged – that’s just a given. Second, this is highly defensive and pretty much hysterical, insane, crazed, panicked, over-the-top, 100% false bullshit by Trump. Third, are any Virginia Republicans – whether we’re talking about MAGA Glenn Youngkin, Winsome Earle-Sears (who was a huge fan of Trump’s, then had a major falling out with Trump, now is back to sucking up to Trump), Jason Miyares, etc. – going to say anything about any of this, or are they all going to try and lie low in the hopes that his all blows over? Because at the moment, at least, it doesn’t look like it’s going to blow over anytime soon.
Which brings us to Virginia Political Memes’ hilarious tweet, snarkily asking, “Does Winsome stand with the Boys, and in some cases, Gals of MAGA like Pam Bondi & Tim Anderson or is she involved in this coverup??? ASK!”
So yeah, reporters, ask Winsome Earle-Sears – and Glenn Youngkin, John Reid, Jason Miyares, Jen Kiggans, Rob Wittman, John McGuire, etc., while you’re at it – what she thinks of this situation. We’re all ears to hear her response! LOL
