Fairfax, VA – Tonight’s debate between VA-11 Democratic nominee Fairfax Supervisor James Walkinshaw (D-Braddock) and Republican candidate Stewart Whitson underscored what’s at stake in the upcoming special election for Virginia’s 11th Congressional District.
Voters face a clear choice: one path rooted in responsible leadership, progressive values, and proven service—and another beholden to Donald Trump’s divisive and dangerous MAGA agenda.
“Tonight’s debate made clear what’s at stake for Fairfax,” said Supervisor Walkinshaw. “My opponent’s blind loyalty to Trump and his dangerous agenda was on full display—and it couldn’t be more out of step with the values of this community.
