As Earle-Sears claims Virginians losing their jobs isn’t a “real issue,” here’s a reminder that Kiggans and Wittman have rubberstamped federal job cuts

When it comes to enabling devastating job cuts across Virginia, Jen Kiggans, Rob Wittman, and Winsome Earle-Sears are three peas in a pod.

As Earle-Sears faces blowback for once again calling devastating DOGE cuts that have upended Virginia’s workforce and economy not a “real issue,” it’s important to remember that Kiggans and Wittman have fully enabled the harmful cuts from their perch in Congress.

Jen Kiggans was a day-one supporter of DOGE, attending an initial meeting with Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy to help set up the job-killing department. Kiggans faced protests at her office for failing to stand up to Elon Musk, and even voted to codify DOGE cuts into law. She has dismissed Virginians’ concerns about DOGE, claiming “this is the change that Americans voted for in November” and “I know it’s a lot of change, but this change is so necessary.”
Rob Wittman directly backed DOGE during a telephone town hall, despite his constituents expressing their concern with DOGE’s actions. He has said that DOGE can “bring some value” and voted to codify DOGE cuts into law. Wittman declined to attend an in-person town hall in his district to explain his support for DOGE.

That’s the Kiggans-Wittman-Earle-Sears Agenda: Job cuts and economic suffering for Virginians.
