RICHMOND, Va. — Today, Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger released a new TV and digital ad in her campaign to serve as the next Governor of Virginia highlighting endorsements from former Virginia Republican Members of Congress Denver Riggleman and Barbara Comstock.
The latest ad focuses on Spanberger’s record of bringing people together to deliver results for Virginia’s families, businesses, and economy. Additionally, the ad highlights Spanberger being consistently ranked as the most bipartisan Member of Congress from Virginia — as well as one of the most bipartisan lawmakers in the country.

BACKGROUND
During her three terms in Congress, Spanberger was consistently recognized for her bipartisan leadership in supporting Virginia businesses and workers.
In June 2020, she received the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s first-ever “Jefferson-Hamilton Award for Bipartisanship” for her commitment to finding common ground on issues facing Virginia’s small business community and overall economy.
Earlier this year, the National Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) — the world’s largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers — recognized Spanberger for her bipartisan work on behalf of Virginia’s police officers and for pushing her bipartisan Social Security Fairness Act across the finish line.
