RICHMOND, Va. — Today, Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger released a new TV and digital ad — the final in her campaign to serve as the next Governor of Virginia — focused on her and her fellow Virginians’ tradition of service to community, Commonwealth, and country.
The latest ad, titled “Tradition,” highlights the value of public service that Spanberger’s parents — a career federal law enforcement officer and a nurse — instilled in her. “Tradition” also outlines how Spanberger’s own record of service — first as a federal agent investigating child predators, working narcotics cases, and arresting drug dealers; then as a CIA case officer working counterterrorism cases — connects with the stories of Virginians.

Abigail Spanberger: Service is a tradition in Virginia that runs in the family.
I’m Abigail Spanberger. I followed my parents into public service.
My mom was a nurse, my dad worked in federal law enforcement, and I did too — going after drug rings and child abusers and then at CIA, terrorists.
Now I’m ready to serve again — as Governor — to continue our family’s tradition of service by serving all Virginia families.
V/O: Spanberger for Governor. Service. Country. Commonwealth.
