Just a few thoughts about our disgrace of a VP, JD Vance, this morning, given that Vance is busy ranting and raving (see screenshot, below) about Virginia Democrats passing a redistricting amendment that could cost some of Vance’s friends – like Rep. Jen Kiggans (R-VA02) – their jobs. Also, see below for a few articles about Vance:
- JD Vance: ‘despicable toady for Trump’ – and 2028 candidate in all but name
- Youngkin Says Vance Would Be a ‘Great’ Republican Nominee in 2028
- Why JD Vance Can’t Ride Whiteness to the White House (“He thinks naked white supremacy will make him president. He’s almost certainly wrong.”)
So first, according to Vance:
“I’d like to thank @bray_rodric for not even trying to fight back against this extraordinary Democrat abuse of power. Now the votes of Indiana Republicans will matter far less than the votes of Virginia Democrats. We told you it would happen, and you did nothing.”
FYI, Rodric Bray is President Pro Tempore of the Indiana State Senate. More to the point, “In the 2025–2026 United States redistricting debate, Bray announced that he would not convene the senate chamber even though Governor Mike Braun had called a special session due to a lack of votes. This led to stark criticism from President Donald Trump who called Bray “weak” and “pathetic” and needed to be primaried.”
So, of course, Vance is Trump’s attack dog…thus the following tweet, in response to Rep. Jen Kiggans (R-VA02), who is obviously FREAKING THE F*** OUT because she knows that she’s in deep trouble even without the redistricting amendment (Abigail Spanberger won VA02 in November 2025; former Rep. Elaine Luria is gunning to take back her seat), and that she she’s almost certainly toast if the redistricting amendment passes. Meanwhile, note that neither Vance nor Kiggans have ANY PROBLEM WHATSOEVER with the very thing that caused Democrats to fight back, which is the Trump regime trying to rig the 2026 midterm elections by pressuring red states to gerrymander Democrats out of existence (in Texas, Indiana, Florida, etc, etc.). Consistently, Republicans’ “reasoning” (if one can even call it that) is: anything/everything Trump does, including blatant gerrymandering in red states, is 100% a-ok, but if Democrats fight back in any way/shape/form, they are EVIL!

Next, check out this article in The Guardian (which everyone should be reading – ditch your Bezos Post endorsement and use that money to send to The Guardian instead!) today:
“Joe Walsh, a former Republican congressman turned Democrat, said: ‘He’s absolutely risen to the occasion: he’s a thoroughly despicable, dishonest toady for Donald Trump, and he’s doing it wonderfully.’
‘He’s the clear frontrunner because he’s utterly shameless and he’s done and said everything that Trump wants him to do and say. He’s done a great job and positioned himself to be the guy.'”
Utterly repulsive, in other words, yet this guy’s the overwhelming frontrunner right now for the 2028 Republican presidential nomination. Horrifying – and also VERY revealing about where that party’s collective head is at right now, which is white nationalism, fascism, dictatorship, destroying our democracy and rule of law, corruption, etc.

Not surprisingly, another ambitious Republican without any ethical or moral compass, or any soul apparently – FORMER (good riddance!) VA Gov. Glenn Youngkin – is clearly thinking about 2028, because what else is he going to do with his life at this point? And Youngkin may be a lot of bad things – craven, amoral, etc. – but he’s NOT an idiot, and he can read the writing on the wall for 2028. That’s why Youngkin’s busy kissing JD Vance’s fascist ass, stating publicly that he thinks Vance would make a “great” Republican nominee in 2028. Translation: Youngkin is trying to figure out a way to stay relevant, and also to have a shot at the 2028 Republican race to succeed Trump, so he’s maneuvering himself even further right than ever…because that’s the path he’s calculated will best serve him, and again, he has no moral or ethical compass, no soul, etc. So…yeah, good f’ing riddance to Youngkin as governor, but let’s all keep an eye on this guy as he tries to maneuver his way onto the 2028 Republican ticket with JD Vance.

P.S. Oh, and don’t forget, JD Vance is a white nationalist who “thinks naked white supremacy will make him president.” That’s not an exaggeration, either, as Vance’s message for 2028 is literally “In the United States of America you don’t have to apologize for being white anymore.” And Glenn Youngkin’s 100% fine with that.
