VA Speaker Don Scott Calls on Virginia General Assembly Republicans to Denounce Racist Trump Post

Speaker Scott released the following statement:

“Republican leaders across the country have already denounced this racist post. Republican leaders in Virginia have not. This should not require a public statement, but here we are. What the President reposted was racist. Deleting it hours later without an apology does not erase the harm. I’m calling on Virginia General Assembly Republicans to simply do what’s right and denounce this garbage.”
