Video: Glenn Youngkin, Winsome Sears, Jason Miyares Campaign with Wren Williams, “a Big Lie conspiracy theorist who led Donald Trump’s effort to overturn Wisconsin”

Williams was just featured in a NY Times article, "The Nation Needs a Reality-Based G.O.P. Only the Kook Caucus Is Stepping Up"

We already know that VA GOP gubernatorial nominee Glenn Youngkin is allied and in sync with right-wing extremist Ted Cruz . We also know that Glenn Youngkin said he’s honored to have Donald Trump’s endorsement. So…we can’t be too surprised that Youngkin’s now “fully embracing Wren Williams — a Big Lie conspiracy theorist who led Donald Trump’s effort to overturn Wisconsin, as VA Democrats’ Deputy Communications Director Manuel Bonder puts it (see below). Still…yikes; THIS is what Virginia Republicans believe has appeal in a state which voted for Barack Obama twice, for Joe Biden by 10 points, for Ralph Northam by 9 points, etc, etc?!? And THIS is the ticket Virginia Republicans believe might finally break their statewide losing streak going back to 2009?!? Hahahaha.

Seriously, though, re: Wren Williams, check out this article (“The Nation Needs a Reality-Based G.O.P. Only the Kook Caucus Is Stepping Up”), which notes that “Last month, a longtime Republican member of the Virginia House of Delegates was unseated in his primary by a political newbie [Wren Williams] who had worked on the failed Trump legal effort to overturn the election results in Wisconsin.” THAT is who Glenn Youngkin is fully embracing. Wow.

So…is Glenn Youngkin about as far out of the Virginia mainstream as a political candidate can get or what? Oh, and it’s not just Youngkin either; check out the videos, below, of Wren Williams with VA GOP Lt. Gov. nominee Winsome Sears and also with VA GOP Attorney General nominee Jason Miyares. In sum, what we have with the 2021 VA GOP statewide ticket is candidates who are at least as “out there” as the infamous, 2013 “extreme team” VA GOP ticket of Ken Cuccinelli, EW Jackson, and Mark Obenshain. For all our sakes, let’s just all make sure that we beat Extreme Team Part II by a much bigger margin than we defeated Extreme Team Part 1.
