MCLEAN, VA – Terry for Virginia released a new digital ad today highlighting Glenn Youngkin’s admiration of Ron DeSantis and his failed COVID-19 response. Youngkin has been campaigning on his fawning admiration for Ron DeSantis — whose reckless anti-COVID safety “leadership” has resulted in one of the the worst COVID-19 infection rates in the country. Youngkin’s desire to model his governorship after Ron DeSantis’ would harm Virginia’s economy and jeopardize Virginia’s students’ safety this fall.
With the recent rise in COVID-19 cases related to the spread of the delta variant, Terry McAuliffe recently called on all Virginia health systems and health care providers to require their employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19, and he is requiring all campaign staff to be fully vaccinated. As Virginia’s next governor, Terry will work to rebuild a stronger post-COVID economy that lifts up all Virginians, and he will fight to make sure all Virginians have quality, affordable health care.
