From Rural GroundGame, whose “mission is to develop and execute programs for the support, training, and development of rural Democratic candidates, campaigns, and committees, securing a deeper level of investment in and by Democrats in every zip code in order to get Democrats elected and uphold our shared values.” Good stuff!

Rural GroundGame Returns for 2021

Organization commits to immediate and sustained support for and investment in rural Democrats

Across rural Virginia, Democratic candidates, activists and supporters boldly show up to carry the message and values of the Democratic Party to their communities. Rural GroundGame is honored to be there to back them up.

Rural GroundGame (RGG) works with Democratic nominees, their campaigns, local committees, and volunteers to advance the values and platform of the Democratic Party with the unique characteristics and challenges of rural communities in mind.  RGG  provides a variety of services and infrastructure to meet the essential needs of campaigns and committees with field, data, communications, finance, and operations. After supporting over a dozen rural campaigns in 2019, RGG returns for the 2021 cycle to offer a variety of support to candidates and campaigns as well as a long term plan that will include direct, year-round support to rural Democratic Committees.

“Democrats across the commonwealth and around the country recognize the importance of showing up to rebuild our brand and bench of candidates in localities that we have left behind,” said RGG Executive Director Ian McNally. “This recent influx of financial support is the shot in the arm that Rural GroundGame needs to get to work on this crucial undertaking.”
