With Senator Lynwood Lewis now officially sworn in the state senate, a special election to fill his seat in the House has been set for February 25th, and we need your help to make sure we keep this seat in Democratic control.

Our candidate, Willie Randall, will be a valuable addition to the Democratic House Caucus. Willie is a decorated 20 year army veteran – serving in the Persian Gulf War, earning the rank of Major, and receiving the Bronze Star. He’s a former member of the Northampton Board of Supervisors where he helped lower the county debt, expand universal pre-K, and spur the development of a new access road to the port in Cape Charles, which will bring new businesses and jobs to the community. We must make sure we elect Willie and keep Norfolk and the Eastern Shore blue.

This race is already in full gear. Willie and volunteers have been out talking to voters across the district, and last week Republicans nominated Robert Bloxom, who will be another vote for the party of “no” in the House, in a mass meeting where around 150 voters were turned away.

With just 2 weeks left until Election Day, we need your help to make sure we elect Willie Randall as the next Delegate from the 100th District. This Sunday, February 16, we will have a Norfolk canvass with Lieutenant Governor Ralph Northam to spread the word about Willie’s leadership, service, and vision. You can also sign up to volunteer and see other upcoming events here.

Because this race is a short sprint to the February 25th special election day, we especially need help funding the campaign. Donate today to help us spread our message and support our boots on the ground to ensure that we reach as many voters as possible.

With your help, we can elect Willie Randall to the House of Delegates and keep this seat blue.
