DCCC: Kansas Abortion Results Demonstrate that “Jen Kiggans, Yesli Vega, and Hung Cao’s agenda to ban abortion isn’t just dangerous – it’s politically toxic”

Last night, voters in red state Kansas resoundingly voted to protect their access to abortion.

Don’t tell the National Republican Campaign Committee in charge of electing GOP House candidates, who have repeatedly downplayed the idea that taking away basic rights for half of the country’s population will have an impact on the 2022 election.

This is a warning to every single GOP congressional candidate running in Virginia, who have all staked out some of the most extreme, dangerous positions possible on abortion. Republican Yesli Vega in VA-07 falsely claimed that victims of rape are less likely to become pregnant, and Hung Cao in VA-10 compared abortion to the atrocities of the Holocaust. Including Jen Kiggans in VA-02, all three support banning abortion.
