Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA11): “I can think of few things more despicable than lying to Americans in need about the help available to them.”

Great stuff from Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA11), as Trump/MAGA spew out damaging, destructive LIES about hurricane response, even as “FEMA is on the ground responding to Helene as they prepare for Milton.” Just “despicable,” as Rep. Connolly says – and yes, “Shame on any leader who spreads lies for political gain at a time like this.” The fact is:

“This is a whole-of-government response. Help is available. Don’t let anyone con you into thinking otherwise.“

More broadly, why would anyone believe a pathological liar like Trump – literally, if his lips are moving, HE IS LYING! – on anything, ever??? Even worse, why would anyone in their right mind vote for Trump??? It makes no sense whatsoever.
