This is the textbook definition of “gaslightling” by Glenn Youngkin. In this case, Jake Tapper LITERALLY READS TRUMP’S QUOTES about using the military (!!) against his opponents, and Youngkin’s like, “that’s not what Trump really meant!” Insane. And really just EVIL, especially since Youngkin MUST know that what he’s saying is a wild lie, dangerous, etc.
