A very lively VA-05 debate this evening in Washington, VA between Democrat Leslie Cockburn and far-right/”Freedom Caucus” wannabe Republican Denver Riggleman just wrapped up. And by “very lively,” I mean that almost every single word Riggleman said was either extreme, false, clueless or badly misinformed (e.g., I love when the audience loudly booed Riggleman for claiming that the decline in the unemployment rate only began with Trump’s administration, not – as really happened – early in the Obama administration). As or Leslie Cockburn, she is well informed, smart, tough, sensible and make an infinitely better representative for the fifth district than Riggleman. Check out the video, below…
