Albo Says Wife Spurned Sex After Hearing GOP’s Transvaginal Ultrasound Plan

Ben Tribbett flags this clip from the Virginia General Assembly floor of Del. Dave Albo (R-Fairfax). Del. Albo took to the House floor to describe how his wife spurned his advances after seeing a story about the Virginia GOP’s efforts to mandate transvaginal ultrasounds.

So Virginia Republicans banned gay marriage because they think two men kissing is icky, but we have to listen to Dave Albo and his middle-aged paunch talk about putting on the moves like he’s a 15-year-old boy trying to get to second base?

  • Dave Albo is sooooo funny, hahahahahahaha, his wife won’t have sex with him because he wants to have the government force Virginia women to have trans-vaginal ultrasounds against their will. As I said, hardy har har. Now, time to go rinse my brain out with bleach to try and purge it of any thought of Dave Albo gettin’ down and funky. Ugh.

The fewer Albos brought into this world, the better!

Taegen Goddard’s very popular Political Wire just posted this clip, calling it “one of the wierdest speeches you’ll ever see on the floor of a legislative body”.

Somehow I don’t think this is going to get Virginia off of the late night TV monologues.

Oh and by the way, just in case anyone forgets, Albo’s party is the one of purity and  family values..

That is just awful.  Oh. my. goodness.

    Offensive on so many levels.

…and offensive to me as a woman.  There was a lot of laughter in the House, and if any of my own (Arlington) delegates were laughing with Albo, I am going to be very upset with them and I will tell them so.

Who is running against Dave Albo in the next election and where can I send a check???

  • RenaRF

    Just… gross.

    headline on the Huff Post.

Well we are looking ridiculous AGAIN.

    Thanks rethugs!

…how some guys talk when sitting in a bar drunk with other guys.  What’s inexplicable is why Albo would think this banter appropriate in a legislative chamber — the same legislative chamber, by the way, in which Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and Patrick Henry once debated.

What I’d really like to know is what his wife said or did to him after seeing this.  Hope he shows up with a black eye next week…
