All Virginia Dem’s Vote to Repeal DADT; All Virginia Repug’s Vote “Nay”

Great news – the House of Representatives voted (250-175) a few minutes ago to repeal the stupid, unpopular, harmful, outdated, discriminatory policy known as “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell.” This was a “stand-alone” measure, and will now go back to the Senate for a vote (hopefully) there.  What could go wrong?  Heh.

Meanwhile, I find it fascinating, and highly revealing, that every single Virginia Democrat – Boucher, Connolly, Moran, Nye, Perriello, Scott – voted “aye” for justice and equality, while every single Virginia Republican – Eric Can’tor, Randy Forbes, Bob Goodlatte, Rob Wittman, and that self-described “moderate” Frank Wolf (heh) – voted to keep discriminating.  That really says it all.
