Loudoun Supervisor Eugene Delgaudio, staunch Republican and leader of the hate group Public Advocate of the United States, has been served with a cease and desist letter by the Southern Poverty Law Center for the unauthorized use of a gay couple's engagement photo, which was altered and then featured in homophobic political attack mailers in Colorado. Loudoun County Democratic Committee Chair Evan Macbeth issued the following statement about Delgaudio's latest controversy:
